Baby coots last week. Haven't seen them since, may have been eaten by the huge pike, the hungry heron or the wily crow. Nature red in tooth and claw...


Geoff and Molly the swans actually had five hatchlings, but only one has survived the above mentioned predators plus boat cats at Hampton where they sleep. I think this one is big enough to survive now.


Thanks to all for a great weekend in Aberdeenshire. The Long Form session was particularly good.
