Tomorrow's and next week's lessons can now take place as Claire from the Round Chapel has got us space in the Church Rooms, round the other side of the buildings, entrance in Powerscroft Road up the steps, where we have gone before. However, we only have 6-8pm as the very loud Salsa classes start in the big hall at 8pm. So... we have short sessions this fortnight. Please come early and join us. Beginners group is as normal. We are being charged a reduced rate, but it is still over half of our normal room fee, but for the seniors who can come early and join us I will charge £5 a session as you won't get the full syllabus.
Here's the plan:
6-7pm normal beginners class (warm ups, both salutations, Short Form to diagonal single whip plus new posture and/ or revision)
7-7.30pm sticking and push hands, or sword partnerwork applications from weapons day for sword group.
7.30-8pm whole Short Form, Long Form up to Strike Tiger L, revision or questions.
Then, if the weather is good we can pop to the park for a bit more play if folks like, otherwise, it's early doors. Let's do the best we can with the short time. Come to all of it if you can. Normal classes, times, venue and so on will resume in September, thank goodness. I know some people are already away, so all the best to them for the summer, already.
