It's very late but anyway... I cycled to David's and did some T'ai Chi in the garden before the rain which was great, mainly working on the sabre form on the lawn. This week I hope to learn the final postures so I can really get to work on it. Later we went inside and did partnerwork: heartwork, push hands and some free pushing. I'll go back tomorrow evening for a few more hours' work/play with David and his dad Terry, who also studies with Mark.
The only distraction for me is the mass of fallen purple plums next door to David's house, I may have to go and ask if I can scrump them so I can make jam and crumble: seems such a shame to waste them. There are also ripe blackberries, raspberries and loganberries in the garden, though small due to lack of water, which makes them sweeter. It seems the harder the conditions, the finer the flavour...
