From a recent talk by John Kells

Here's three small extracts I have transcribed from the audio of a talk John recently gave.

'The meaning of life is the other person, the connection you have, with anybody you might meet, is what life is. Life isn't sitting down in a monastery, or a lavatory, or anywhere else, and cutting off – or cutting off face-to-face.'

'You've got to practice what it is you want to be. And you've got to find a teacher, if you can, who teaches you how to be you, whatever 'you' is.'

'There is 'The Truth', maybe, but what you find is your truth. And the stronger you become with your truth, and understanding your truth, the stronger your life will be; the more you'll give to the people you love, and they to you.'
