A few folks who are adept at making sword tassels will be attending this year's summer workshop. I will make enquiries and try to put together those who want a tassel with those who can make them! Marie has found a great website where we can finally get tassel fringe in many colours and lengths, as we have been limited to 30cm black or maroon in the past. The website is in French, so see Marie this summer to make any order. As a guide one needs 60cm of tassel fringe per pair for a sword, 20cm being the best length for those under 5" tall, 30cm for those above that height.
It appears 'frange' is French for 'fringe'. Excellent.
