This morning I read a good line in an article about creative writing by Rachel Cusk, paraphrasing or quoting (Iam not sure which) a modernist US poet Marianne Moore. It was written about writing, however, it is surely applicable to other realms of being.
'Alienation produces loneliness, for which solitude is the cure'.
