If you can't get a bought one to fit, you can make a perfectly serviceable tsuba (guard) for your bokken out of card and tape, as Alistair did, shown above. I shall make one this week, so we can get on with applications at Hackney and in Aberdeenshire, without mashing our hands. You need to be able to remove it for form, as it gets in the way.
