My mum and I went to see the packed, huge, Hollywood costume show today, which was really good. It seems the actor playing Darth Vader was extremely tall, and Marilyn Monroe, Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp must all be tiny, as their costumes were particularly petite. Two of my several favourite costumes: Judi Dench's Queen Elizabeth I in 'Shakespeare In Love',
and Joan Crawford's sequin sheath dress from 'The Bride Wore Red'.
Naffest costume: Mel Gibson's in 'Braveheart' - in real life looks little better than a tartan table cloth. It would not cut it in a real Scottish Winter, possibly not even during a real Scottish summer...
