Tassels

I am getting my head around making tassels again, and am half way through a his 'n' hers pair for two dear T'ai Chi pals who are 'tying the knot' in December. Whilst feeling a bit unsettled at the start of putting my house for sale, more concentration-demanding crafts had been put on hold. Now, having developed a little patience for the process, I am happy to fiddle with tricky things again. A few of the Scottish posse mentioned wanting to make some / have me make one for them. I will have prices and materials by the end of the week, hopefully before I go to Sweden for the weekend. I will post details here, and if you want to order one, or come and make one at Balvack, say on Saturday morning before classes on 1st December, get in touch, as that could be fun. I can bring: cord, beads, glue, card, tassle fringing. You would need to bring a cork tile or small cord notice board, plus plastic headed push pins (not thumb tacks - too flat and short). This afternoon I will get beads for 'his' tassle, it's tricky to find beads that will fit the wider cord I have used.
