Old friends

Those of you who studied with me at Drumblair Lodge may remember the delightful young WWOOFers Chiara and Ryoko, who also came along to T'ai Chi whilst they stayed. Both blossomed amazingly on the mix of T'ai Chi, gardening, living in a household where folks were coming and going at all hours, doing music, and studying at Findhorn, or heading off down the beach... It was a great pleasure to be part of their lives and we have stayed in contact since, by email and post cards mainly. Ryoko has just been in touch, the first time I have heard from her since the Tsunami, and sounds really well and fine. Chiara is stopping over in London for 8 hours on her way to Thailand, the day after my birthday, so we will meet up and speak our best Franglais over a meal or coffee. Chiara built her own hut in the woods in France and has been all round Europe clowning and being part of direct action groups. At one point she had a mule and a caravan cart too. I can't wait to catch up with what she's doing now.
