I have just booked to go here for a week to ease myself mindfully into life after 40... I found this centre at the excellent Good Retreat Guide which is the online version of a book I first bought about 20 years ago. The River Dart is nearby, which we visited during the Iain McGilchrist workshop Davina and I attended earlier this year. I intend to spend a couple of nights in Totnes afterwards, as I have passed through but never sampled its organic cakes and alternative bookshops. It may even have alternative cakes and organic bookshops. I had planned a big walk round the UK in a figure of eight from the West side of Hadrian's Wall, but funds and time do not allow, so maybe I'll do that for my 50th, and hike with my sister too. David will take the Hackney class on February 8th 2012.
