Ceilidh at Chats Palace

I just got this from Wayne: I'd really like to go, get in touch and maybe we can make a posse for a bit of a dance night... What a great flyer too!

The Muckers are playing a public Christmas, pre-Soltice, Ceilidh with a great caller, dancing and very Special Guests, to raise funds for Chats Palace Comunity Centre on Chatsworth Road Hackney.
Its on Wednesday 21st December, full details on the flyer.
A great chance for a rare public ceilidh/knees-up to the Muckers and to express support for Chats.

Tickets are going fast so its best to book in advance (£5.00 only) from the Chats Palace website / wegottickets:

Chats Palace community centre has a special place in the hearts of many Mucker's members, friends, children even, who remember gigs, pantos, workshops, carnivals, creches, and local community events going back decades.

The splendid building was purpose built in 1912-13 by Edwin Cooper,as a Carnegie "library for the betterment of the people of the East End".
The Council closed the library in 1977 but the building was reclaimed by members of the local community.
