Swan news

Via a web search, and a very helpful guy at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, we are now in touch with the people who ring birds' ankles, and track their migrations and populations, the British Trust for Ornithology. We will soon have lots of info about 'Tara', the friendly swan, as Ian the Farmer had written down her tag details and given them to me. I promptly lost them last year, but they turned up in a pile of scrap paper yesterday, so I sent them in. I have to say, I am quietly excited.
