Despite having booked this weekend for the least possible chance of disruption due to snow before Christmas, I arrived to heavy snow this morning. Safety must be the priority, and as the roads are so bad off the main routes, we are cancelling the Fetternear session tonight. I am staying at Paolo and Davina's for the whole weekend, and the sessions that do run will be here, rather than Finzean, as the narrow roads there are hard to pass when traffic is coming the other way. We will have the first possible sessions next year there, to make up.
So for now the plan is this: if you can safely get here for a planned 121, do. Regarding the weekend sessions, I will be happy if I can see everyone just the once! Aim to come tomorrow afternoon at 2pm, if weather permits, and I will do a big 'download' of all the great stuff I wanted to show you re sword, Dance, Long Form, applications and slipping hands. If the weather is bad tomorrow, we will try again at 2pm on Sunday. You can call myself or Davina any time with queries. I was up at 4am, so you may get more sense from Davina than me today. We will do whatever we can, and those who can make it along can share what they learn over the next few weeks.
