Sunday 10th October 2010 (10/10/10) has been earmarked as Global Carbon Reduction Day around the planet & there is going to be in excess of 37,000 events around the world highlighting the need for carbon reduction & the need for people to reduce their carbon output. http://www.1010global.org/uk
This is Aberdeen's only city centre event Big event happening this Sunday afternoon from 12.30pm. Lots going on from low carbon education/information, nature events, lots for kids of all ages. Oxjam will have a gazebo of live music & a chance to buy their wonderful wrist bands for their main event a couple of weeks later. A great day for all the family. If the weather isn't good come along anyway as we will transfer everything into the alcoves under Robbie Burns statue. Why not come along & look at the fantastic colours just now & see if you can spot the resident bird of prey.
