News
Some of you will remember Dave Knight from the workshops where he assisted Mark over the last year. The great news is that he's coming up to live at my place for some time to get a break from London and to do T'ai Chi with me most days. I expect you'll be seeing him at most classes, which will be of huge benefit to all the students as we can split into groups when appropriate to work on postures. Dave has been studying with Mark a little longer than myself and I am very excited about him joining us here. Hopefully he will stay on after coming up for the weekend workshop of 29th-30th October. Mainly, selfishly, I am just very happy to be able to work on my own T'ai Chi every day with someone else!
Other news: we have booked McLymont Hall on Holburn St, Aberdeen, for the next beginner's workshop with Mark on Saturday 29th October.

Hardships and Setbacks
From Ueshiba's book, 'The Art Of Peace'
The Art of Peace is to fulfill that which is lacking.
Be grateful even for hardships, setbacks, and bad people. Dealing with such obstacles is an essential part of training in the Art of Peace.
Failure is the key to success;
Each mistake teaches us something.
Always practice the Art of Peace in a vibrant and joyful manner.
