Paralympics

I went to the Paralympics on 5th with Janet. It was totally superb, the River Lea environs look tremendous and it seems every single person was smiling, happy and polite. The sport was great, the venues beautiful. Excepting expensive food and drink (I took my own...) it was probably the best 'event' I have ever attended, certainly the most well-run. What a delight, not to feel at all embarrassed to be from the UK, and living in London. I got a bit sun-burned, even. Now that it's all over I feel sad, but inspired to get on with our work.
